Former Canyon Springs HS player, Kawhi Leonard, one game away from NBA title
The Toronto Raptors defeated the Golden State Warriors 105-92 in Game 4 to take a commanding 3-1 series lead in the 2019 NBA Finals.
After the Golden State Warriors came out firing in the first quarter, the Raptors withstood the charge and carry a 79-67 lead over the Warriors following Kawhi Leonard's 17-point scoring outburst in the third quarter.
Both teams struggled drastically from 3-point range as they combined to go 12 for 46 from beyond the arc through three quarters. Even the game's best shooter, Stephen Curry, has gone 1-of-8 from 3-point range.
The Warriors will try to tighten things up on offense as the fourth quarter gets underway.
With the Warriors moving to the newly-built Chase Center for the 2019-20 season and Game 5 of the NBAFinals taking place in Toronto, this may be the last-ever game played at Oracle Arena if the defending champs fall tonight and cannot turn things around on Monday. Golden State will look to ensure that Game 6 returns to Oakland by tying this series at two games apiece.
