Crashed jet to remain in building until investigation is complete

March Air Reserve Base officials on Tuesday, May 21, met with business owners and employees affected by the May 16 crash of an F-16 into a manufacturing building.

The crash left a hole in the roof of the Opportunity Way building that is home to See Water Inc. and Bous Performance. The threat that the ordnance on the plane could explode prompted the temporary closure of other businesses on Opportunity Way as well. Among them, Sysco, which distributes food to restaurants. And Riverside National Cemetery had to reschedule funerals.

It is not known how long the investigation will take.
