What should a reader do about a piece of metal going into his arm?

I am sharing this question through the website because I am posting a photo of a man who had a little bit of metal go through his arm. I don’t think it’s a big deal, but just in case others do…it is posted here.

This is a very unusual request and might create some controversy, especially after people were upset with the woman who asked for advice on a judgement.

Here is the story. A piece of metal flew into the arm of man who was hitting a chisel doing a demo. He is self-employed and doesn’t have medical insurance. He has a friend who is a doctor and is going to have him look at it tomorrow. He is not in any pain. However, he thinks it’s close to his veins and wonders if he should dig it out? My advice is, if in doubt to seek medical advice.

Here is a photo of him with a magnet and his arm where the metal is. What do you think he should do? Comments need to be posted on Facebook.
