Update on Lake Havasu boating accident: A California woman's body has been recovered

Three people are still missing. 

Original post:  Two boats, one with 10 passengers and another with 6, collided on the Colorado River just north of Lake Havasu.  One man and three women are missing.  Nine people in total were injured, two critically injured were airlifted to Las Vegas.  the cause of this accident isn't available at this time. 

New information sent in by a reader who is in Lake Havasu:  Witnesses (staff at the restaurant in Topock) said both boats were traveling at over 40 mph. They had to use airbags to recover the sunken boats. They were searching downriver in the reeds when we were turned around by Sheriff boats.

The collision occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday between Pirates Cove and the Topock Marina near Moabi Regional Park on the California-Arizona border, authorities said. Search-and-rescue divers were in the water searching for bodies.
