Police respond to "Child Annoyance" call at Lakeside Middle School, Val Verde School District

On Monday, August 27, 2018, Perris Police responded to a reported child annoyance call involving a 12-year-old student from Lakeside Middle School. The victim reported she was walking to school as was at the intersection of Walnut Street and Hazel Way in the City of Perris. An unknown Hispanic male adult driving a white sedan stopped and asked her if she needed a ride. The male then got out of his vehicle and asked for her phone number. The male then shook the victim’s hand and kissed her on the forehead. The male then left in an unknown direction.
The victim described the suspect as Hispanic, approximately 20-30 years old, 5’ 4” to 5’ 6” tall, average build with black hair and brown eyes. His hair was described to be in a comb over style. His clothing was described as a black and white shirt with no sleeves.
