Arrests made for illegal fireworks and meth possession

From MVPD: During the month of June 2018, the Moreno Valley Police Department’s Problem Oriented Policing Team investigated the sales and distribution of illegal fireworks within the city to suppress the use of illegal fireworks on the streets leading up to the Independence Day holiday. 

During the investigation, several arrests were made and nearly 700lbs of illegal fireworks, 2 handguns, 1 assault weapon and ½ lb. of Methamphetamine were seized. 

Alberto Garibay, 26, of Moreno Valley was arrested on charges 30605 (a)P.C., Possession of an assault weapon, 32310 P.C., Possession of a large caliber magazine, 12700 (b)(2) H.S., Possession of illegal fireworks or pyrotechnic devices (Total 455 pounds) 

Nestor Ledezma, 29, of Moreno Valley was arrested on charges 12700 (b)(2) H.S., Possession of illegal fireworks or pyrotechnic devices (Total 107 pounds)

Victor Orozco, 31, of Moreno Valley was arrested on charges 12700 (b)(2) H.S., Possession of illegal fireworks or pyrotechnic devices (Total 126 pounds) 

Steven Flores, 25, of Moreno Valley were arrested on Possession of a controlled substances for sale 11378 H.S. 29800P.C., Felon in possession of a firearm, 12700 (b)(2) H.S., Possession of illegal fireworks or pyrotechnic devices (Total 3 pounds)
